This week, we welcomed three University of Waterloo co-op students to our team. A little bit more about each:
- Anya is majoring in physics and astronomy. She relocated to Waterloo from Fredericton, New Brunswick, where she attended high school at École Sainte-Anne. An interesting fact about Anya is she is a serious Harry Potter fan.
- Amina is majoring in biology, and minoring in philosophy. She comes to Waterloo from the GTA, having attended high school at John Fraser Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario. An interesting fact about Amina is she collects fountain pens.
- Ana-Maria is also majoring in biology, and planning to pursue a minor in French. She attended high school at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario. An interesting fact about Ana-Maria is she can read, write, and speak Romanian.
Some commonalities between our three new co-op students, besides how awesome they are: They all have first names, which both start and end in the letter A. All three fluently speak at least one other language. They also seem to enjoy team lunches and desserts from Vincenzo’s.
The three co-op students will be the key micro-course developers as well as providing input on our product and assisting with marketing. Their continual input and feedback is critical to our mission of helping students succeed academically. Already, they have brought new energy and ideas to our team. We are very excited to be working with such highly motivated and intelligent students and emerging scientists and academics. Welcome to Minute School!
